Audrey Lea Harvey
Audrey Lea Harvey, 85, of McDonald, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
She was born June 24, 1932, in Alma, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ervin E. and Sara Jane Thompson Kester.
Mrs. Harvey was a 1949 graduate of Weir High School, Weirton, W.Va.
She was a homemaker and had a baking business she ran from her home.
Mrs. Harvey was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, McDonald, and attended Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, Bridgeville, with her daughter.
She loved baking and the beach, but her life was her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her family.
On January 30, 1953, she married Charles Daniel Harvey, who died February 2, 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia D. (Bill) Sergi of Cecil and Darla R. Ryjer of Carnegie; brother Larry A. (Libby) Kester of Florence, S.C.; four grandchildren, Lauren M. (Matt) Burlando, Brianne (Rob) Garber, Kristin (Larry Schneider) Ryjer and Brandon Ryjer; and five great-grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas and Lyla Burlando, Riley Schneider and Kinley Ryjer.
Deceased are four brothers, Clarence, Morris, Paul and Rexall Kester.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, in Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, 212 Station Street, Bridgeville, with the Rev. Joseph Freedy as celebrant. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
