Loretta Louise Patterson
Loretta Louise Patterson, 81, of Waynesburg, died at 5:04 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018, in Waynesburg, in the home of Charlie and Vicki.
She was born Tuesday, October 27, 1936, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late James and Ruth Aldine Rush Smith.
She was a lifelong resident of Greene County.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of Church of Christ, Waynesburg.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and making crafts.
Her husband, Charles Raymond Patterson, whom she married March 22, 1954, died October 12, 2003.
Surviving are three sons, Charles R. (Vicki) Patterson and Michael D. (Lisa) Patterson, both of Waynesburg, and Mark A. (Nadene C.) Patterson of Lower Burrell; five grandchildren, Aaron Morris, Damon Patterson, Sean Morris, Brandon Patterson and Courtney Patterson; two great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Knoll of Ohio and Violet English of Waynesburg; four brothers, Earl, Bobby, James and Walter Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Patricia Sue “Patti” Morris.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, with Speaker Michael Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
