Joseph J. Borsody
Joseph J. Borsody, 82, of Brownsville, died unexpectedly Monday, March 12, 2018.
He was born Tuesday, March 19, 1935, in Brownsville, a son of the late John and Caroline Kadlub Borsody.
Mr. Borsody was a member of Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville. He was a retired teacher from Brownsville High School and also a retired police officer in Brownsville.
In addition to his parents, deceased is his wife, Mary Ann Borsody.
Left to cherish his memory are three children, sons Joseph John Borsody and wife Maci of Portland, Ore., and Mark Walter Borsody and wife Monica Fusco of Cleveland, Ohio, and daughter Bethanne Natali and husband Alan of California. He also leaves behind a sister, Colleen Nesser of Greensburg; brother John Borsody and wife Frances of Brownsville; six grandchildren, Miera, Adam, Yitzhak, Channah, Luke and Eric Borsody; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, and until 10:15 a.m. Friday, March 16, when prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the Historic Church of St. Peter with the Rev. Timothy Kruthaput as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
