Theresa M. Zemba Powell
Theresa M. Zemba Powell, 48, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Coal Center, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 14, 2018.
She was born February 8, 1970, in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, a daughter of Lou and Patricia Horvath Zemba of Coal Center.
A 1988 graduate of California Area High School, she attended University of Alabama, Mobile.
Before becoming a homemaker, she had been employed by Portraits International as a professional photographer.
She was very active in Little Flower Youth Football and Soccer Catholic Boosters Club of Pensacola. She loved animals, especially horses, and also loved doing for others.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Kyla E. Berdine (Chuck) of Monessen; a son, A.J. Carrillo of Pensacola; a stepdaughter, Tish Petrilla of Pensacola; her longtime companion, Troy Knight of Pensacola; a brother, Lou Zemba (Martha) of Coal Center; and her maternal grandmother, Janet Horvath of Bentleyville.
Deceased are her paternal grandparents and her maternal grandfather.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for her children either directly to the family or through the funeral home.
