Barbara A. Scears
Barbara A. Scears, 77, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born September 21, 1940, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Edward and Sarah Smith Hott.
Mrs. Scears had worked as a residential service aide at the former Western Center and Mayview state hospitals.
On August 2, 1958, she married Charles R. Scears, who passed away May 19, 2016.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Karmazin (Michael) of Houston and Diana Karmazin (Paul) of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, Melissa Suwalski (Mike), Michael Karmazin (Karen), Jason Scears (Breanne), Jocelyn Scears, Paul Karmazin and Allen Karmazin (Aleesha); six great-grandchildren; a sister, Janice Zimmerman (Darold) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Charles E. Scears, is deceased.
