William Arthur “Bill” Wilson II, 74, of Coal Center, West Pike Run Township, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waynesburg.

He was born June 6, 1943, in Canonsburg, a son of the late William and A. Virginia Williams Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a 1962 graduate of Peters Township High School.

He retired in 2006 from Drakenfeld/Ferro Corp., Washington, after 29 years of service.

Mr. Wilson was a member of Roscoe Presbyterian Church, where he was an ordained elder.

He was a 32nd degree member of F&AM Blue Lodge 615, Charleroi, and through the Masons, assisted with Meals on Wheels in Charleroi. He was also a member of Dormont-Mt. Lebanon and East Monongahela Sportsmen’s Clubs, where he enjoyed competition shooting.

Mr. Wilson enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, watching Westerns and spending time with his family and friends, especially his cat, Toby.

Surviving are two sons, William (Vicki) Wilson III of Graysville and Samuel (Evalena) Wilson of Spraggs; his beloved grandchildren, Roxanna (Claude) Roberts, Angela (Zack) Wilson, Kacee L. Caster and Caleb, Jacob and Dylan Wilson; a brother-in-law, Jack (Darlene) O’Neil; a niece, Beth Ann O’Neil; a great-niece, Christine Marie Goodwin; and a special family friend, Rosella DuBarr.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Sue Carper Wilson, and his second wife, Patricia O’Neil Wilson.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, with the Rev. Candace Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery, Fallowfield Township. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
