Paul J. Kron
Paul J. Kron, 55, of Carmichaels, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, of a heart attack, while working at The Meadows Casino.
He was born December 20, 1962, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late James A. Kron Jr. and Norma M. Schmitt Kron.
Surviving are two children, Thomas J. Walters (Keri) of Carmichaels and Michelle L. Wise (Michel Todd) of Hundred, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Ellie Wise and Landen T. and Kolten J. Walters; two sisters, Maureen Donaldson (Stephen) of Pittsburgh and Pamela Slaby (Ralph) of Bethel Park; four nephews, Stephen and Zachary (Chelsea) Donaldson and Matthew and Eric Slaby; and a niece, Megan Donaldson.
His wife, Kim, died April 18, 2016.
Mr. Kron was a chef and team leader at The Carvery in The Meadows Casino.
He attended Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels, and was a member of American Legion Post 400 Auxiliary.
In his spare time, he enjoyed his family, decorating and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and noon to 1 p.m., the time of services, Thursday, March 22, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, with the Rev. Keith Larson officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
