Marilyn Hlavay
Marilyn Hlavay, born March 3, 1946, in McDonald, to the late Andrew and Anna Svihla, passed away at 72, Sunday, March 25, 2018, in Maryland.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph Hlavay; devoted mother of Kevin Hlavay and Shawn “Chris” Hlavay; and cherished grandmother of Jen, Claire and Tyler.
She enjoyed cleaning the pool, gardening, doing yardwork, taking vacations, watching the Weather Channel, attending baseball games and most especially spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake. She will live forever in our hearts. Friends and family can pay their respects at a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 29, in Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, Md. Following the service, there will be a repast at noon in Renditions Golf Course, 1380 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville.
