Charlotte M. Pendleton, 90, of Washington, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, in Transitions Healthcare, South Strabane Township, following a brief illness.

She was born December 5, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of the late Joseph Dawson and A. Frances Johns Vactor.

Mrs. Pendleton attended Washington High School. She was a homemaker, enjoyed watching game shows on television and playing bingo in her younger years. Most of all, Mrs. Pendleton enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Wise of Washington; three sons, James Pendleton of Laurel, Md., Vincent (Roslyn) Pendleton of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Robert Pendleton of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Wanda (Michael) Clements, Crista Wise, Tara Wise, Denise Dates, Dionne Pendleton and Rhonda Edwards. Several great-grandchildren also survive.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of a funeral service, Tuesday, April 3, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. The Rev. Robert Hickey will officiate. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum.
