Charlyn Dawn Hartley Anderson
Charlyn Dawn Hartley Anderson was called to heaven Monday, April 30, 2018, in Jefferson Hospital, with her family by her side.
She was born August 25, 1946, to Charles C. Hartley Sr. and Margaret Bolosky Hartley.
Charlyn dedicated her life to her family. She was a devoted wife to Leonard James Anderson, whom she loved unconditionally for 51 years. They enjoyed going to the casino together and the couple were rarely seen without one another. Charlyn adored her husband and was sure to be home to make his lunch and to kiss him goodbye before he would head off for work. Together, the couple raised two daughters whom Charlyn loved and gave her all.
Daughters Lenni Dawn Nedley (Robert) and Staci Lynn Dominick (Dale) will cherish the guidance, devotion and memory of their mother.
Charlyn was a member of the previous St. Thomas Aquinas in California and American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post 940. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, scrabble, puzzles and computer games.
In addition to her father, Charlyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Traci Lynn Anderson, and two brothers, Charles C. Hartley Jr. and James Edward Hartley.
Family and close friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., 323 Fourth Street, California, Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, followed by funeral services with the Rev. Todd Rutherford officiating. Interment will be private.
