Andrew J. Miller Jr.
Andrew J. Miller Jr., 77, of Amity, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, in his home.
He was born July 3, 1940, in Meadow Lands, a son of the late Andrew J. Miller Sr. and Georgia Arthur Miller.
Mr. Miller was employed by Cooper Power, formerly McGraw-Edison, retiring after 25 years of service.
He was a longtime member of Anawanna Gun Club.
Andrew was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed auctions.
On April 18, 1974, in Winchester, Va., he married Sharon Hines, who survives. Together, they celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Also surviving are two sons, Wendell Dillie (Terri) of Beckley, W.Va., and Andrew Miller III of Amity; three grandchildren, Curtis Dillie III, Tess Morris and Wesley Dillie; eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Sabrina, Collin, Liam, Logan, Emily, Jacob and Joshua; a sister, Pamela Shrader (John) of Washington; a brother, Gary Miller (Ada) of Texas; a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Dillie of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a son, Curtis Dillie; two brothers, Alvin and Thomas; and two sisters, Marianne and Deborah.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
