Norman J. Kotlik

Norman J. Kotlik, 83, of Washington, died unexpectedly Monday, May 7, 2018.
He was born January 14, 1935, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Norman and Anna Kotlik. Mr. Kotlik was a graduate of Bellaire High School. He worked in sales for Best Foods and Spatola Wines for 35 years, until his retirement. He enjoyed playing a variety of sports throughout his life, especially baseball. In the 1950s, Mr. Kotlik was signed by Branch Rickey to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates before an injury ended his baseball career. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
His wife, Joann, is deceased. Surviving are son Joe Kotlik of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter Ann Marie (Joseph) Colucci of Shaler; two grandchildren, Christopher and Daniel; and a dear friend, Carolann Ridings.
In addition to his father, mother and wife, Mr. Kotlik was preceded in death by a son, Mark Kotlik.
