Thomas Brian “Tommy” Huggins Jr., 33, of Dilliner, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 6, 2018, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

Born November 29, 1984, in Morgantown, he was a son of Thomas Brian Huggins Sr. of Dilliner and Amanda Cline of Moatsville, W.Va.

A 2003 graduate of Mapletown High School, he also graduated from ITT Technical Institute in 2006 with an associate’s degree in drafting.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dunkard and was faithfully attending Beth Haven Baptist Church, Morgantown.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but coon hunting was his passion. Tommy was a member of Greene County Coonhunters Association and West Virginia Coonhunters Association, Marshville, W.Va. He attended coon hunts all over the country, and his greatest achievement in hunting was his Grand Nite Champion, “Sam.”

In addition to his mother and father, Tommy is survived by his wife, Racheal Carey Huggins; a daughter, Peyton; step-father, Curtis Cline; his in-laws, James and Emmy Carey of Davistown; brothers, Jacob Huggins, Jeremiah Cline, Zachary Cline, Troy Carey, Robert Self and Jonathan Maskil; sisters, Hayley Cline, Beth Ann Stoneking, Falisia Self, Jamie Carey and Brianna Carey; maternal grandparents, Willard and Mary Jane Bolyard; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Phyllis Huggins, all of Dilliner. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Steve and Carletta Huggins, Bob and Charlene Mitchell and Paul Huggins and Pauline Cuellar; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

He was a devoted husband, father and son, and a friend to all. His pride and joy was his precious daughter, Peyton.

He was predeceased by uncle, Roger Frost; a cousin, Justin Frost; grandmother, Margaret Pauley; and grandfather, Raymond Cline.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, and from noon to 2 p.m., the hour of services, Saturday, May 12, in First Baptist Church of Dunkard, 106 Plant Road, Taylortown, with Pastor David Coe officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Taylortown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the family at 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, PA 15474.
