Karen Sue Tedrow Crawford

Karen Sue Tedrow Crawford, 71, of Waynesburg, passed away in her home Monday, May 21, 2018, with her devoted caregivers, Donna Weimer and Rebecca Collins, by her side.

She was born April 23, 1947, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Bessie Tedrow and the late Edwin Berdine.

Karen was a lifelong resident of Waynesburg. She worked as a cook and waitress in several local restaurants, including Chicken House, Waynesburg Livestock Auction and Airport Restaurant.

She had made her home with the late Terry Eddy, and later with the late George Lee.

Karen loved reading and working in her flower gardens.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra K. Crawford (Charles Tuttle) of Ford City and Donna L. Crawford Eddy Weimer (Warren); eight grandchildren, Bonnie Davis (Robert), Amber Crawford, Laura Nobel (Chris), Casandra Kotlar, Chris Tuttle, Ryan Tuttle, Donald Quincy Eddy (Kellie), and Danny Eddy (Danielle); 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Tedrow (Joann) of Ashley, Ind., a former son-in-law, Donald Eddy; aunts and uncles; and several cousins.

A public memorial service will be held at noon Friday, May 25, in the Community Building at Thompson Gardens, Waynesburg, with Pastor David McElroy officiating.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Karen’s memory may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 2183 McClellandtown Road, Masontown, PA 15461.
