Brockway, Steven Philip
Steven Philip Brockway, 45, of Muse, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, after a four-year courageous battle with cancer.
He was born January 29, 1973, in Batavia, N.Y., a son of Gary (wife Rebecca) Brockway and Donna Brockway of Canonsburg.
He was a 1992 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
He was a truck driver and crane operator for Superior Walls, Carnegie.
In addition to being survived by his parents, he was the beloved father of Matthew and Jonathon Brockway, both of Etna.
Also surviving are the love of his life, Tysha Barros, whom he planned to marry in September; and two sisters, Kristy Brockway of Florida and Maria (Steve) Walsh of Batavia; and two brothers, John (Carol) Brockway of New Hampshire and Anthony (Jacqui) Kern of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a great-niece.
He enjoyed a special friendship with his Aunt Tess and lifelong friends Mick and Jana Palmer of Washington.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, May 26, in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 194 East College Street, Canonsburg, with Pastor Steven Parkhill officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to DeAngelo Funeral Home to help offset final expenses.
