Audrey Williams
Audrey Williams, 96, of Marianna, died Friday, May 25, 2018, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.
She was born July 5, 1921, in Bentleyville, a daughter of the late Robert and Blanche Deems Smiley.
Audrey was a 1940 graduate of Bentleyville High School.
On July 3, 1941, she married Denver Williams, who died September 5, 1993.
She was a homemaker who liked to crochet and quilt.
Audrey was a member of Zollarsville Chapel, United Methodist Church of Marianna.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Williams of Coal Center; two daughters, Joyce Duffield of Canada and Rebecca Tylus of Marianna; seven grandchildren, Amy, Jill, Jane, Lisa, Lori, Travis and Abigail; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Audrey was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a brother, Emmett Smiley, and two sisters, Geraldine Post and Marie Morgan.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, with the Rev. Julie Kolacz. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
