Constance J. Gorman

Constance J. “Connie” Gorman, 86, of McDonald, died Friday, May 25, 2018, in her home.

She was born September 14, 1931, in McKees Rocks, a daughter of the late Joseph and Leona Rawlincewicz Cozzo.

Mrs. Gorman and her husband owned and operated Hi View Lumber for 45 years. After her husband’s death, she continued to run the business with her son, until the business closed.

She enjoyed baking and cooking and, most of all, she loved caring for her family.

On September 2, 1953, she married James David Gorman Sr., who died March 7, 1996.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen G. (Craig) Metzger of Weirton, W.Va.; a son, James David Gorman Jr. of McDonald; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Cozzo of Oakdale and Dolores Gorman of Hopewell; and a grandson, Matthew Metzger.

Deceased are a brother, Joseph Cozzo; a sister, Lucy (the late Robert) Cusick; and a brother-in-law, Henry Gorman.

Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where services will be held at noon Tuesday, May 29, with the Rev. Justin Amsler, pastor of McDonald Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
