Myrtle Ruth Whipple, 77, of Nashville, Tenn., died Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Surviving are her husband, Carl “Bud” Whipple; son Carl “Skip” (Christy) Whipple; grandchildren Savannah Whipple and Leanne (Mark) Blair; and sister-in-law Judith (Ron) McPherson.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, the time of service, Saturday, November 3, in Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Lane, Nashville, with the Rev. Cherie Parker officiating.
