Wilma L. Miller
Wilma L. Miller, 84, of McMurray, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren.
She was born August 8, 1934, in Middlecreek Township, Somerset County, a daughter of the late Richard Johnson and Mabel Gross Johnson.
Wilma was also preceded in death by her aunts, Margaret and Ethel Gross of Rockwood.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Miller. She was the loving mother of Lori (Earl) Ducouer, Dave (Elissa Conlin) Miller, Cathy (Jim) Dorff and Linda Gratz; cherished grandmother of Nicole Sobecki, Jennifer Shuback, Adam Miller, Kristen Wilmot, Zachary Dorff, Samuel Dorff, Bradley Banas and Jessica Kanellos; and great-grandmother of Caden Sobecki, Eryx Kanellos, Nikos Kanellos, Brayden Shuback, Tanner Miller and Riley Wilmot.
She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She loved to read, sew, make jewelry and anything else creative. She made quilts for the armed services and was always giving back to those in need.
Wilma was a 1952 graduate of Rockwood High School and a member of Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, McMurray.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, where services will be held at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, November 6. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 608 East McMurray Road, Suite 102, McMurray, PA 15317.
