James W. Nixon
James W. Nixon, 82, of Washington, died Saturday, November 3, 2018, in Premier Washington Health Center.
He was born November 26, 1935, in Washington, a son of the late George W. and Sarah Kerr Nixon.
Mr. Nixon worked as a facilities manager at Drakenfield.
In his free time, he loved to dance.
Surviving are a daughter, Debora (Donald) Nixon-Trojan of Lugoff, S.C.; a brother, Don (Marybelle) Nixon of Jefferson; four grandchildren, Ryan Trojan, James Craig, Christina Louk and Collin James Nixon; nine great-grandchildren, including a great-grandson who bears his name, David James Trojan; many nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Virginia Six.
Deceased are his wife, Patricia L. Donley, who died July 6, 2011; three children, Patricia Nixon, Diana Craig and Ricky James Nixon; a brother, George Nixon; four sisters, Marie, Alice, Lily and Ellen; and a grandson, Eric Pavian.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.hummellandjones.com.
