On Tuesday, October 30, 2018, Kristi Lynn Hunt Laudermilt, 47, formerly of West Alexander, passed away unexpectedly.

She was born April 30, 1971, a daughter of Glenn and Joan Hunt.

Kristi had a huge heart and a passion for loving and saving animals. She loved all of God’s creatures, from the soft and furry to the creepy and crawly. She loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. To know her was to love her.

Kristi attended McGuffey High School and was a graduate of Penn Commercial.

She was a member of Dutch Fork Christian Church in Claysville, where she was baptized into Christ March 16, 2006.

Kristi loved her family and friends and enjoyed cooking for them. She greeted everyone she met with a tilt of her head and a smile that could light up a room and make a person’s heart smile.

Her paternal grandparents are the late John and Eleanor Hunt, and her maternal grandparents are the late Jesse and Lilian White.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a brother, Eric Hunt; a sister, Julie Baker; and daughters Jenna Laudermilt and Rachel Smith.

She was the proud aunt of Brian Steadman, Nancy (Ray) Lowden and Shawn McMillen; great-aunt of Sofia, Alexandria and Maverick Lowden; and loved daughter-in-law of Gary and Mary Ann Laudermilt.

Kristi is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, who she was close with and loved very much.

Condolences will be received by the family from 11 a.m. to noon, the time of a memorial service, Saturday, November 10, in West Alexander Christian Church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local humane aociety or animal rescue, or to Dutch Fork Christian Church, 48 Dutch Fork Church Road, Claysville, PA 15323. Donations may also be made to assist her brother.
