Rafala M. Thomas, 79, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 10, 2018, in Canonsburg Hospital.

She was born September 17, 1939, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late John Sr. and Catherine Selva Thomas.

Rafala lived her life in Canonsburg. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, where she had been employed for many years. Prior to that, she had been employed at Canonsburg General Hospital.

Miss Thomas is survived by two brothers, John (Margo) Thomas Jr. of Washington and Donald (Jeri) Thomas of Northridge, Calif.; sister Margaret Schmidt of Eighty Four; and several nieces and nephews.

At the request of the deceased, private family visitation will be held in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P.
