Ruby E. Kronk

Ruby E. Kronk, a woman of faith, dignity, wit and wisdom, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, after a hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s disease in Waynesburg, surrounded by her family.

She was born July 30, 1933, in Fayette County, to Charles and Nellie Davis Bell.

She was a beloved wife to Thomas W. Kronk of Braden Plan, Clarksville, whom she married May 15, 1954; loving mother to her seven children, Patricia D. Reynolds of Jefferson, Thomas L. Kronk of Waynesburg, Lois J. Stickovich (Leonard) of Fredericktown, Sarah E. Martin of Carmichaels, Richard A. Kronk of Jefferson, the late Ruth Totin, whom she missed dearly, and Emma Louise Kronk, who passed in infancy; and cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, Erica, Melissa, Jennifer, Jodi, Kristen, L.J., Cheryl, Jenna, Danny, Ashley, Bryan, Nathaniel, Richie, and Alysha, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Ruby was a Christian and a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and going to see country music singers. She was a warm and caring person, who devoted her entire life to her family. Loved and respected by those who knew her, she will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Behm Funeral Homes, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, with Pastor Tim Tanner officiating, followed by interment in Jefferson Cemetery.
