Carl A. Caltuna
Carl A. Caltuna, 30, of Denbo, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born April 18, 1988, in Washington, a son of Denise Chmura Caltuna of Denbo and the late Richard A. Caltuna.
Mr. Caltuna was a 2006 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.
He was employed with PVS Steel Services, formerly Amrox, in Allenport, where he worked as a laborer for the past eight years.
Carl was a Volkswagen enthusiast and enjoyed working on cars and attending many Volkswagen events with his friends. He had a large group of great friends, with whom he vacationed, camped and pursued many hobbies. He also liked to fish, help with Marianna Outdoorsmen Association and sample craft beers. Most of all, he loved his cat, Kirby.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Alyssa A. Caltuna of Denbo; a half brother, Chad Sumey of Brownsville; and aunts and uncles Paula Kubina (Paul F.) of Grindstone, Mike Caltuna (Cathy) of Lone Pine, Lisa Caltuna of Mather, Gary Zec of Rices Landing, Marie Armstrong (Raymond) of Indianapolis, Iowa, and Bonnie J. Weisman of Nevada; and numerous cousins.
Deceased, in addition to his father, are an aunt, Carla Caltuna; paternal grandparents Carl and June Caltuna; and maternal grandparents Stanley and Anna Chmura.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
