Pamela Orison
Pamela “Sue” Orison, 61, of Langeloth, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, November 17, 2018, in Heritage Valley Beaver Medical Center.
She was born November 28, 1956, a daughter of the late William F. Orison Sr. and Helen Link Orison.
A 1976 graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown, she worked briefly at Star Lake Ampitheatre in Burgettstown.
She was a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was stubborn and strong-willed, but always made time to help anyone who needed help. She enjoyed going to bingo, canning and spending time her great-nieces and great-nephews, taking them to the park, getting ice cream, teaching them silly riddles and showing them how to do things. She always made sure her family had everything they needed and would give a person the shirt off her back.
She will always be remembered by her daughter, Sarah Jane Myers McCarrell and husband Patrick; her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Myers; and her grandchildren, Madison, Bonnie, Jesse and Mason. She is also survived by her sister, Annette Bennett; her brother, William F. Orison Jr. and wife Sis; her nephews, Jerry, Cliff and William III; and great-nieces and great-nephews Kylee, Jared, Karissa and Chance.
She also loved her dog, Chico, and cat, Lucy.
Sue requested she be remembered for the person she was, the good and the bad.
To honor her wishes, there will be no public visitation and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty Four, PA 15330, www.washingtonpashelter.org.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
