Albert James Casper Jr.
Albert James Casper Jr., 75, of Washington, died Monday, November 19, 2018, in Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington, following a courageous battle with a lengthy illness.
He was born September 19, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late Albert James and Wanda Bober Casper.
Mr. Casper was a graduate of Trinity High School. He was employed for 30 years at Cooper Industries, from where he retired. Mr. Casper loved his job and all of his friends he worked with every day. He loved going to work and didn’t consider his time there to be a job. It was what he loved to do. Following his retirement from Cooper Industries, Mr. Casper went to work as a carpenter for his brother, Gary.
He loved spending time with his friends and telling stories. Mr. Casper enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and walking in the woods with friends. He looked forward to and enjoyed getting away for the weekend with his wife to their cabin in Tionesta. Mr. Casper cherished all of the times he spent with his two sons. He was a dedicated husband and father. Mr. Casper was a good-hearted man who enjoyed being with people. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
On June 17, 1989, he married Lois Ann Breckons, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Casper and Curtis Casper; a brother, Gary (Pamela) Casper; and four grandchildren, Preston, Sloane, Tyler and Shannon.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, David Casper.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., corner of Wilson and East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, with Pastor Terry Ardeno officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
