Richard Allan Tournay
Richard Allan Tournay, 64, of McDonald, died Sunday, November 25, 2018, in his home.
He was born August 15, 1954, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Alfred H. Sr. and Dolores B. Longstreth Tournay.
Mr. Tournay was a 1973 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.
He was a retired manager at Globe Parking in Moon Township, where he worked from 1983 until his retirement in 2017. Prior to that, he worked for J&L Steel, until it closed.
Mr. Tournay enjoyed shooting pool, building jigsaws and solving crossword puzzles. He loved the outdoors, whether he was doing yardwork or enjoying the blue water and sand of the Caribbean. He was a NASCAR fan and loved animals, especially his puppy dogs.
On October 1, 1991, he married Melinda Ann Perock, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Dee M. (Mike) Smith of Burgettstown; two sons, Richard J. (Rae) Tournay of McDonald and Brad A. (Kirrah) Tournay of Midway; a stepson, Jason M. Stolfer of McDonald; two sisters, Sherri L. (John) Kenneweg and Carrie L. (Alan) Amoroso, both of McDonald; and nine grandchildren, Michael, Hailey and Faith Smith, Josh, Brianna, Karsyn and Avery Tournay and Vincent and Rita Tournay.
Friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 10 a.m. to noon, the time of a memorial service, Saturday, December 1, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, with the Rev. Dennis Lawrence, pastor of Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations on behalf of the family are requested to Nation Funeral Home Inc., 218 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057.
