Harvey H. Valentine
Harvey H. Valentine, 86, of Bethel Park, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018, with his family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Margaret “Maggie” Valentine and the late Gertrude Valentine; loving father of Rosemary (Rick) Pfeifer, Marlene (Jim Bayer) Valentine-Antonson, Eric (Cheryl) Valentine and Jerry (Patty) Lyons; proud grandfather of Jenny (Brinton) Ealy, Laura (Nick) Hornbeck, Kenny (Jen), Josh (Madawn) and Ryan (Vanessa) Antonson, David and Andrew (Athena) Valentine, Tara (Mike Overvold) Lyons, Meghan (Clyde) McBride and Colin Lyons, the late Jake Klinger and 14 great-grandchildren; and brother of Lillybelle, Alice Mae, George, Richard, Elsie, Ivy, Linda, Roger, Gary, Holly and the late Mary Jane, Betty Jean, Peggy, Carol Ann and James. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of wonderful friends and neighbors, including Will and Shirley Teagarden and Eddie (Aggie) Miller.
Harvey was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired after many years from Hammel’s Express as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, telling tall tales, loved spending time with his grandchildren and traveling with Maggie.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m., the time of funeral services, Saturday, December 1, in Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park.
