Mary Ann Lessick
Mary Ann “Tootsie” Lessick, 80, of Carmichaels, passed away at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in her home.
She was born October 9, 1937, in Marianna, a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Jennie J. Gerden Glad.
Mrs. Lessick was a 1955 graduate of German Township High School.
On March 3, 1962, she married Raymond E. Lessick, who survives.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas, and listening to and playing music.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Randell W. Lessick of Phoenixville and Theodore A. Lessick and wife Kristin of Honey Brook; a daughter, Melissa S. Veneracion and husband Brad of La Plata, Md.; two granddaughters, Emma Rae Lessick and Megan Czapp; and a sister, Janet Bobincheck and husband Leonard of Sewickley.
Deceased is an infant son, Clifford A. Lessick.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Yoskovich Funeral Home, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 6, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, with the Rev. J. Francis Frazer as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
