Terry Lane
Terry “T” Lane, 55, of Houston, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, in his home.
He was born August 30, 1963, in Washington, a son of Robert W. Lane (Lisa) of Canonsburg and Linda Golubosky Lane of Houston.
Terry was a 1981 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.
He had worked for Hallmor Machinists Inc. in Bethel Park.
Terry was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191, Canonsburg, Houston Independent Club, Bears Club in Meadow Lands and American Legion Post 902, Houston.
In 1975, he was a member of the 11-12 youth Chartiers-Houston All-Stars, who participated in the Bronco League World Series. Some of his fondest memories also include coaching third base for his Greenleaf girls softball champions.
He loved camping, socializing and music and was a Willie Nelson fan. Terry was a local sports fanatic, handyman and craftsman. He was known to his friends and family as the life of the party. Terry loved all of Pittsburgh’s professional sports teams and always said he bled Black and Gold.
Terry was a loyal son, beloved brother, always fun uncle, proud pappy and father like no other.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Niki Courson (Jen) of Houston; a son, Nathan Lane (fiancée Allison Cross); two grandchildren, Aubri and Jaxon; three sisters, Joyce Stankowski (Tom) of Houston, Robin Shook of Houston and Alberta “Bertie” Zekir (Ed Medlen) of Claysville; many nieces and nephews; and two great-nieces.
Deceased are a brother, Robert Lane II; a sister, Mary Lane; and two nephews.
Friends will be received from noon to 5:30 p.m., the time of service, Sunday, October 14, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, with the Rev. Jack Wilson officiating.
