Teodolinda Genevieve Tiano
Teodolinda Genevieve Tiano, “Linda Tiano,” 98, of Washington, formerly of North Franklin Street, died Saturday, October 13, 2018.
She was born May 10, 1920, in Martirano, Italy, a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Palma Gigliotti Falascino. Mrs. Tiano was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed gardening with plants and vegetables, loved to cook, sew and bake.
On February 22, 1940, she married Albert Gregory Tiano, who died December 4, 2004.
Surviving is a daughter, Joanne A. Frank of Bentleyville; brother Herman (Antoinetta “Toni”) Falascino of Washington; two grandchildren, Alesia (Brian) Leingang of Mandeville, Louisiana and Michelle (friend Michael Betarie) Frank of Canonsburg; two great-grandchildren, Mia Elizabeth Leingang and Josie Joselyn Linda Leingang. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Tiano was preceded in death by a brother, John Falascino and a sister, Christina Squieri.
Friends will be received from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday, October 20, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christina Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington.
