Daniel W. Alexander
Daniel W. Alexander, 69, of Fallowfield Township, Charleroi, died Saturday afternoon, October 20, 2018, in Monongahela Valley Hospital, with his family at his side.
He was born June 14, 1949, in Ellsworth, a son of Adam and Catherine Rusilko Alexander.
A graduate of Bentworth High School, he worked as a mechanic for Bethlehem Mines and later Consol.
During the Vietnam War, Mr. Alexander served with the U.S. Navy from December 1968 to September 1970.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1809, Bentleyville.
His wife, Rita Sindrich Alexander, survives. They were married October 14, 1978, in Bentleyville.
Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Chad Finley of Houston, Texas; a sister, Kathryn Garg of Humble, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Joyce Alexander.
