Diane E. Guerriero
Diane E. Guerriero, 55, of Bobtown, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington, following an illness for several months.
Born in Butler April 12, 1963, she was a daughter of John Fecsko Sr. of Bobtown and the late Helen Mayowski Fecsko.
A graduate of Butler High School, she had been employed in janitorial services at Fort Martin Power Plant. Diane especially enjoyed travelling and was able to enjoy several trips to the Caribbean.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Guerriero; four children, Amanda Lee Sapp of Masontown, W.Va., Rebecca Lynn Guerriero, John J. (Stacey) Guerriero and Joseph Guerriero IV, all of Bobtown; six grandchildren, Chanda, Katie, Chad and Ian Sapp, John Guerriero Jr. and Mason Andrew Homer, who is due in December; brother John Fecsko of Irwin; sister Brenda Stone (Todd) of Bobtown; and special lifelong friends, Helen and Delbert Stuchel of Rivesville, W.Va.
She was predeceased by a sister, Cindy Peters, in 2017.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 27, in Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion. She will be laid to rest beside her mother in a private service at Wolf’s Cemetery in Dilliner.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation is made in Diane’s memory to the Lung Cancer Foundation of American, 15 South Franklin Street, New Ulm, MN 56073, for small cell lung cancer research, in hopes that researchers can find a cure in the near future to help spare other families such a tremendous loss.
