Mary F. Matyk
Mary F. Matyk, 98, of Rices Landing, died Saturday, October 27, 2018.
She was born February 3, 1920, in Shoaf, Fayette County, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Klonga Fiala.
Mary was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Rices Landing.
On August 2, 1943, she married Paul A. Matyk, who died February 2, 1978.
Surviving are two children, Paul (Martha) Matyk Jr. of Carmichaels and Jeanne (Rick) Bell of Jefferson; five grandchildren, Angela (Glenn) Eustis, Paul Matyk III, David (Charley) Matyk, Jessica (Rob) Schiffbauer and Josh Bell; five great-grandchildren, Hannah (Bryan) Szalanski, Paul (Deanna) Matyk IV, Caroline (Mike) George, Brody Schiffbauer and Bryce Schiffbauer; four great-great-grandchildren, Mike George, Dominick Matyk, Drake Matyk and Elaina Matyk.
She was the last of her siblings.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 126 Crucible Road, Rices Landing, PA 15357, with the Rev. J. Francis Frazer officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
