Ruth Ann Rumbaugh Chynoweth, 74, of Burgettstown, formerly of McDonald, died Friday, October 26, 2018, in hospice care in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, with her son and daughter by her side.

She was born April 1, 1944, in Washington, a daughter of the late Edgar and Dolores Smith Rumbaugh.

Ruth Ann was a retired nurse. She had a great impact on her family and community because of the way she cared for all those around her.

Surviving are her children, Debra A. (John) Kubiak of Scott Township and Dave (Mary Beth) Chynoweth of Burgettstown; grandchildren Briana and Makenna Chynoweth; brothers Ed (Louise) Rumbaugh of Clarion, Lloyd Rumbaugh of Fredricktown and Craig (Linda) Rumbaugh of Washington; and sister Nina (Keith) Lewis of Lawrence.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Rumbaugh.

Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 31. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
