Carol Ann McClements
On Saturday, October 27, 2018, Carol Ann McClements, 73, of Hazlehurst, Ga., went to meet her dear Lord in heaven. Surrounded by family and friends, she joined her beloved husband, Richard.
Carol was born March 21, 1945. She was a 1963 graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown.
On October 19, 1968, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard, who died July 4, 2015.
Also deceased are her parents, Mike and Anna Mecannic of Bulger; sister Susan; and brothers Michael and Mark Mecannic.
Surviving are her son and family, Richard and Kristina McClements and their daughters, Alexandria and Lillian of Sharpsburg, Ga.; and her daughter, Mary Beth McClements and her children, Jaiden and Jamison Hulett of Hazlehurst.
Carol is also survived by three sisters, Patricia (Kenneth) Ferguson of Claysville, Janice (Steven) Lydick of McDonald and Kathleen Sutherland of Belle Vernon, and many nieces and nephews.
Carol loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was very involved with her neighborhood friends and many activities at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, including being a lector and Eucharistic minister. Carol also loved sewing, crafting and visiting with her friends and family in Pennsylvania.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, Hazlehurst. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 1, in Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Hazlehurst.
