Marilyn Marie Rice Toland
Marilyn Marie Rice Toland, 82, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018, in Cumberland Crossings.
Born July 14, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Dorothy Mansfield Rice.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Toland, and a sister, Linda Jean Rice Smith.
She is survived by her children, Sandy Toland Minor, Barb Toland and husband Greg Wood, and James Toland and wife Lynn; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was a longtime bank teller and good friend to everyone who knew her at Slovenian Savings & Loan in Strabane.
She loved traveling with her husband in their RV, and made many lasting friendships across the United States. Her most favorite of all pastimes was playing bingo at the Elks Club in Mechanicsburg. She also enjoyed the times spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
