Carmela Maria DeNardo
Carmela Maria DeNardo, 74, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully Friday, August 31, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenico DeNardo; loving mother of Joseph (Christine) DeNardo of Moon Township and Elizabeth (Michael) Ray of North Strabane Township; and proud grandmother to four beautiful granddaughters, Elisabeth, Nicole, Genevieve and Jessica.
Carmela was born January 23, 1944, in Pizzoni, Italy, to parents Francesco and Grazia Marino.
She was a seamstress for Macy’s for over 40 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and her family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a beautiful and fun-loving person.
Friends and family will be received for visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Beinhauer Family Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 7, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
