Sharon Grace Buckley McDonald
Sharon Grace Buckley McDonald, 86, of Washington, passed away peacefully Monday, September 3, 2018.
Sharon was born to the late Paul and Pauline Carpon Buckley.
She was a graduate of Washington High School.
Sharon married and was widowed by the late Clyde Eugene McDonald.
Sharon was a devout Jehovah’s Witness, animal lover and hot air balloon enthusiast. Some of the fondest memories her family have are of the annual trips to the mountains at Cook Forest and Rehoboth Beach, Del.
Deceased are her mother, Pauline Carpon Buckley; her husband, Clyde Eugene McDonald; uncle Don and aunt Judy Elder; and aunt Mary Sayre.
Surviving are daughters Susan McElravy, Lynn Stanley and Laura (Mark) Podish; son David McDonald; grandchildren Sarah Podish, Erica (Thomas) Clark, Zach Podish, Ryan McDonald, Shannon McElravy, Bradley Stanley and Leah Stanley; cousin Marion Davy; and numerous other friends and extended family.
To honor Sharon’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and interment will be private. A private service was held Wednesday, September 5. Arrangements are by Beinhauer-Bogan Funeral Home, Canonsburg, 724 745-5810.
