Paul S. Reynolds Jr., 85, of Walton Hills, Ohio, formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Sandra L. Lawrence for 45 years; loving father of Janet L. Buckingham (Ron) of Eighty Four, David P. Reynolds (Carol) of Monument, Colo., Patti J. DeGennaro (Frank) of McMurray, David S. Neill (Carol) of Springfield, Ill., and Leslie N. Thomas (Larry) of Ravenna, Ohio; dearest grandfather of Melissa Lopez, David Reynolds, Lyndsay Buckingham, Geoff Buckingham, Jason Neill, Colin Thomas, Bryan Buckingham and the late Eric Neill and Paige Thomas; great-grandfather of nine; and son of the late Paul S. Sr. and Melissa L. Mounts Reynolds.

Paul served in the U.S. Army Third Armored Division Army Aviation Section, the National Guard and was a member of Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department Marine Patrol.

He founded Buckeye Diving School and Rescue Outfitters and remained active in the diving industry for nearly four decades. He volunteered at Southeast YMCA and was a member of the Lake Erie Chapter of Antique Motorcycle Club and National Rifle Association.

At the request of the deceased, cremation has taken place. Private services will be held at a later date. Interment of his remains will be in Washington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army or a charity of the donor’s choice.
