Howard William Shidock
Howard William “Bill” Shidock, 87, of Wellsburg, W.Va., passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018, in his home.
Bill retired after 43 years from Koppers, where he worked in maintenance.
Bill was Catholic, and he recently attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wellsburg.
He was born August 29, 1931, in Independence, a son of the late John and Anna Lukachko Shidock.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Edward Shidock, who passed in 2005.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Arlene Richardson Shidock; a sister, Shirley Sonda and husband Harold of Wellsburg; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles Street, Wellsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, September 10, in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, with Father Dan Pisano as celebrant. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Independence Cemetery, Avella.
