Samuel Jullian Lee

Samuel Jullian Lee, 84, of Cecil, died Sunday, September 2, 2018, in Bridgeville Rehabilitation and Care Center.

He was born September 3, 1933, in Mississippi, a son of the late Tracey and Ethel McElvees Lee.

Mr. Lee served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

He worked as a union electrician in Pittsburgh for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 379 out of Charlotte, N.C. He later worked at Mellon Arena, providing services for Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games.

He enjoyed traveling, visiting and celebrating friends and family.

Surviving are a daughter, Frances “Lynn” Talavera of Oceanside, Calif.; two sons, Dr. Samuel Eugene “Gene” and wife Lori Lee and Chris Lee, both of Houston, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Lisa Turin, Stephanie, Christine and Alan Talavera and Matthew, Daniella and Kristie Lee.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 12. Interment will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, with military honors accorded by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 Honor Guard, Canonsburg.
