David Edwin Brown
David Edwin Brown, 83, of Dilliner, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in his home, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Brown was born October 28, 1934, in Greensboro, a son of the late George H. and Anna David Brown.
David served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the 1950s. He later worked at the U.S. Post Office in Point Marion for many years, and he retired as a supervisor at Coe Manufacturing Co., Cleveland, Ohio.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Baker Brown; five daughters, Angie Celli, Barbara Davis, Sharon Jackson, Debora L. Ivans and Penny Vansil; a son, Bobby Franks; Ryan Conard, whom he raised as a son; a sister, Geneva Orban; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, George Jr.; sons Troy Root, David Brown Jr. and Keith Franks; and a sister, Lula Morris.
David was loved and will be dearly missed.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at a date to be announced in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
