Frances Anita Pelle
Frances Anita Pelle, 78, of Centreville, Va., born and raised in Carnegie, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, surrounded by family.
She was born February 13, 1940, a daughter of Teresa Sorbora Pelle and Bruno Pelle.
She was a dear sister to Anna (the late Joseph) Schirripa, Mickey Pelle, Rosemarie (the late Gino) Trombetta and Dr. Joseph (Glenda) Pelle, and sister-in-law to Joe Capogreco. She was also blessed with many loving nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her sister, Julia Capogreco.
As a young adult, she stepped away from her hometown of Carnegie and built a life for herself that she was proud of in the Washington, D.C., area. Francey was a devoted Catholic who had a loving heart. She gave her all to her godchildren and cherished her friends. Francey enjoyed traveling and hosting people who visited to sight see in the Washington, D.C., area.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 330 Third Avenue, Carnegie, PA 15106, 412-276-1011. Internment will take place in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. Arrangements are entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Timothy Catholic Church, 13807 Poplar Tree Road, Chanantilly, VA 20151.
