Mary Ann Clites

Mary Ann Clites, 82, of Bobtown, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born December 19, 1935, in Vestaburg, a daughter of the late Michael and Ann Mattie Gregor.

Mrs. Clites resided in Bobtown for most of her life, where she was a member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Parish.

She enjoyed dancing and cooking and baking for her family.

On March 7, 1953, she married Robert Lee Clites, who died January 12, 1975.

The family of Mary Ann Clites is in deep sorrow and is mourning the loss of their beloved mother. With grace and dignity, she struggled and suffered for many years, never complaining, as a result of an automobile accident. Through this journey, she continued to be a source of strength and the rock of her family. Praise and glory to God for blessing her children with Mary Ann as their mother. Although deeply saddened, they are joyful she is with her Lord and their sister, Lois. May she have eternal happiness and rest in peace. They will always be grateful and appreciative of her devotion of love, sacrifice and dedication to them. “Mom, you will forever be in our hearts and continue to be an inspiration, until we meet again.”

Surviving are three sons, Robert Clites and wife Renee of Greensboro, David M. Clites of Bobtown and Bruce E. Clites and wife Christine of Greensboro; a daughter, Linda M. Monica and husband Joe of Ruff Creek; 10 grandchildren, Beverly Lusk and husband Brian, Sarah Clites, Bobby Clites, Joey Clites, Celine Monica, Joey Monica, Brittany Clites, David Clites, Bruce Clites and Dominque Clites; three great-grandchildren, Riley Lusk, Reagan Lusk and Tyler Clites; a brother, William Gregor of Blackwood, N.J.; two sisters, Florence McDivitt of Lindenwood, N.J., and Pauline Jester of San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Lois Ann Clites, who died May 20, 1996; a brother, James Gregor; two sisters, Isabella Archer and Nancy Gregor; and two half brothers, Mike Gregor and John Gregor.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Yoskovich Funeral Home, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 14. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, with the Rev. J. Francis Frazer as celebrant. Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels. A vigil service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
