Daisy B. Arthur
Daisy B. Arthur, 101, of Waynesburg, died at 8:12 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2018, in her home.
She was born Sunday, May 20, 1917, in Greene County, a daughter of the late John Fordyce and Maddie Jane Johnson Fordyce.
Mrs. Arthur was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God, Mt. Morris. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and her cats. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Albert T. Arthur, died October 31, 1981.
Surviving are a daughter, Delores Henry of Waynesburg; two sons, Robert L. Arthur of Greensboro and William D. (Debra) Arthur of Spraggs; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are a son, Samuel James Arthur; several grandchildren; two stepsisters; and a brother, Arleigh Fordyce.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of service, Friday, September 21, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with Pastor David McElroy officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
