Josephine Baloga
Josephine Baloga, 83, a lifelong resident of Burgettstown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 20, 2018, in her home.
She was born June 10, 1935, a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Kubenik Baloga.
A graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown, she most recently worked at McDonald’s in Burgettstown.
Josephine was a caring, giving and fiercely independent woman who enjoyed working around her house.
The last of her immediate family, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are six sisters, Anne Serish, Margaret Goldsboro, Helen Thomas, Catherine Baloga, Agnes Comis and Leona Baloga, who died in infancy, and three brothers, Steve, Andy and John Baloga.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, with the Rev. Jack Demnyan of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Burgettstown, officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery, Burgettstown.
