Dorothy A. Phillips Durfee
Dorothy A. Phillips Durfee, 89, of Langhorne, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
Dorothy was born in Washington. She was a proud graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was an art teacher for Highlands (N.J.) School District for 20 years.
She enjoyed art, music, swimming, traveling and spending time with family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, the Rev. Harlan C. Durfee, and her daughter, Christine Bouamalay.
She will be sadly missed by her three loving children, Anne E. Drybala (Vincent), Peter H. (Susan) and David J. Durfee (Sara). Also surviving are her brother, John F. Phillips (Linda); 10 grandchildren, Oliver (Marie), Vincent (Rose), Bethany (David), Jonathan (Becky), David (Katelyn), Steven, Dryden, Thomas, Abigail and Julia; and eight great-grandchildren, Vera, Harlan, Noelle, Benjamin, Juna, Thea, Cole and Tristan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, October 13, in Donegal Presbyterian Church, 1891 Donegal Springs Road, Mt. Joy, PA 17552. Interment will follow in Donegal Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mt. Joy.
