Jack L. Oelschlager
Jack L. Oelschlager, 78, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, September 20, 2018.
He was born May 14, 1940, a son of the late John H. and Myrna Gilkeson Oelschlager.
He was the beloved husband of Jacque Russell Oelschlager; cherished brother of Diane (the late John) Heinz, Margaret “Midge” (Edward) Watts and the late James Oelschlager and Karl Oelschlager; and loving uncle of Jim Oelschlager, Marian Oelschlager, William Watts, Sheryl Cassidy, David Watts and Edward Watts.
A 1958 graduate of Bridgeville High School, he proudly served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Jack was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Bridgeville.
He was a retired employee of Pennsylvania Transformer Technology.
He was a member of Captain Trent’s F&I Reenactment, National Rifle Association, National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, Washington County Buckskinners and Dormont-Mt. Lebanon Sportsman’s Club.
Bernice DeBoe, Brent and Marianne Miller and Millie Thielet were always there for Jack.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday in Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, in Zion Lutheran Church, Bridgeville.
