Charles “Chuck” Morris, 73, of Washington, died Monday, September 10, 2018, in UPMC-Montefiore hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born November 7, 1944, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Emmanuel and Naomi Apple Morris.

Mr. Morris attended Valley Forge Military Academy and Youngstown University.

He worked as a sales manager for Dream Water Beds, and an emergency medical technician for several volunteer fire departments.

Chuck belonged to New Dominion Birth Kingdom Ministries.

A generous man, he was a good friend to many. He had played football in high school and college and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

On April 20, 1974, he married Sharyn Francis, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Robyn (William) Long of Washington, Eve (David) Adelson of New Jersey and Laura (Stuart) Kaplan of Pittsburgh; a sister, Louise Baruth of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Seth Long; and three nieces, Karen Burnstein, Barbara Baruth and Shari Baruth.

Friends will be received from 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, September 29, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Walter Cherry officiating.
